I. The Victims
CasualBreather (AKA KazaBraza), a man in his thirties, was sending inappropriate messages and photos to minors. Before his account deletion, he had over 600 fans and nearly 300 tracks published since 2009. You might have known him, or listened to his music. CasualBreather’s account was deleted from Newgrounds on July 10th, 2026, at his request after Tom locked his account.
I wasn’t fully planning to make this post, but @SnSQRS told me that the more people know about this, the better. Some of this is edited from my existing news post comments. The purpose of this post is to raise awareness to the situation, and to provide a retrospective of what happened before and after he was exposed.
I’m going to only briefly talk about what he did, as SnSQRS’s post and AlexGogea’s post explain it better, and in more detail. CasualBreather sent unsolicited, half-naked photos to teenagers, one of whom was only 14 years old at the time. One of the photos sent to SnSQRS was an implied depiction of CasualBreather performing oral sex (or preparing to), with his face between a pair of bare legs in the groin area. Other messages CasualBreather sent to teenagers often included topics of hard drug use and alcoholism. CasualBreather discussed that he was waiting for a 16 year old’s “hormonal changes”, additionally referring to him as a “sexually ambiguous eastern Italian cocky teen.” CasualBreather sent a picture of his erection in his underwear, and also mentioned his masturbation to femboys to this same victim.
As someone who is depressed, and has her own mental struggles, that is no excuse to have these inappropriate conversations with minors or share photos of that nature. Drug and alcohol use is also no excuse. We are responsible for our own actions. It was CasualBreather's responsibility as an adult to not send those pictures and messages to minors, or even offer to send those pictures. The victims trusted him as an adult to act appropriately, and he betrayed that trust.
Tom mentioned to me about CasualBreather a couple days before SnSQRS’s post was released, but with no details. My interactions with CasualBreather were very minimal, all things considered. CasualBreather PM'd me a few times on Newgrounds, mostly about audio moderation. He told me that I'm really helpful and that he likes to "send youngsters" my way. It's an unassuming line that definitely reads with irony now that he's been exposed.

II. Betrayal, Manipulation, and Growth
This next section is mainly for @Noltrollroll and @Immyshack, and describes what happens after CasualBreather was exposed. I wish this section didn’t have to exist. I’m conflicted on how I feel. Your actions hurt people, even if CasualBreather’s manipulation was somewhat (or largely) to blame. I’m extremely disappointed and saddened by your actions, but I’m also doing what I can to understand you. This, like the first section, is a retrospective and summary of what happened.
After SnSQRS’s post was released, you two jumped to defend CasualBreather. You mocked SnSQRS, retorting “hot ngl”, in an attempt to dismantle the victims’ stories, and claim that the photos were sent consensually. A single line of “hot, ngl” is not consent. Consent cannot happen after the fact, and it is never assumed. SnSQRS’s response was not consent, it was a reaction to seeing an unsolicited photo. For the other victims, as minors, they cannot consent to receiving photos like that. It was CasualBreather’s responsibility as an adult to not send them. Nol, you also asserted that deleting messages from a chat with a predatory older adult was an admittance of guilt. Both of you victim blamed the groomed to protect the groomer. You continued to double down and defend CasualBreather with a video you both recorded with him rambling on a Discord call. This was followed by a Google Drive folder of videos, text and screenshots, several of which were concerning.
Looking at the first video on your Google Drive folder and hearing CasualBreather immediately say "she was into it" is really fucking scary. That's textbook rape culture. You were upholding that, and directly associating with it. The dread I felt was cold and immediate. One of the major aspects of rape culture is to downplay the effects of harassment and abuse. It also surrounds a lack of understanding or indifference to proper consent. You prioritized your connection with CasualBreather over the safety and well-being of others.
However, as I stated initially, I’m still trying to be understanding. You are both minors yourselves and were likely being manipulated by him too. That is what he does. CasualBreather is much older than you and at such a different maturity level. I fear for anyone that he is in contact with, or has had contact with, including you. You should not be friends with this man. Your actions were wrong, but people make mistakes. What matters now is to address where you were wrong and do what you can to be better in the future.
Nol, I am glad to see that you eventually came to your senses and shut CasualBreather out of your life. I’m glad to see you supporting the victims now, and admitting your faults. It’s going to be a while before I can forgive you though. You let everyone down. This includes the victims and everyone who followed and supported you on Newgrounds. I hope you can learn a lesson and grow beyond this. I have faith that you can.
Immy, I’m relieved you later came to your senses the same way Nol did, and apologized for your actions. You let everyone down in the same way. If you haven’t already, I am asking that you please block him everywhere. You didn’t specify if you did that in your news post. I genuinely fear for your safety. Stop talking to this man. Don’t be a puppet to his nasty, rapey manipulation.

III. Courage
To end this off, I’d like to take a moment to honor the courage that SnSQRS and the other victims had to come forward with this. Speaking out against a groomer who you’ve grown to trust is incredibly daunting, especially with the possibility of individuals defending that groomer. Having people downplay a groomer’s actions is always a risk, and they came forward anyway. Seeing all this unfold was personal in ways that I cannot describe here.
For the rest of @SluggCrew, and anyone in their Discord server, I’m asking that you do the same thing that Nol and Immy eventually did. CasualBreather was a part of your group, and you should speak out against his actions, even if you were never specifically his friend. Condemn CasualBreather’s nasty behavior and support the victims. Behavior like CasualBreather’s thrives when people stay quiet. Staying quiet is easy. Instead of doing what’s easy, do what’s right.
Speak out against what is wrong. Speak out against harassment and abuse. Speak out against creepy and manipulative behavior, and understand what could be at stake if you don’t. Understand that your courage to speak out when others remain silent can save people from real harm.
