It's clear to see you put a lot of time into this, it sounds so good. I'm gonna go find some more chipstep now.

Thanks for listening 🙏❤️
Intense and somehow nostalgic. I need to fight a dark wizard to this song.
Go get that wizard!
I agree, this should be played at high volume!
yusssss!!!
The lyrics are very clever. The story you told is such a relatable feeling, perfectly wrapped in the metaphor of an NPC. I feel the same way much of the time. While I don't want to achieve anything grand in my life, I still want to grab the controller and do something. But every time I try to reach for it though, it always feels too far away, or I just lack the motivation to grab it, or do anything for that matter. Honestly, simply "moving on" is hard enough as it is. I hate the lane that I'm in, yet I stick to it, because I can't find a way to do anything else. All in all, these lyrics are powerful in the way they convey emotion and the universal experience of depression.
My only criticism is that I wish there was a bit more instrumentation (or at least something different) at 1:09. Then again, I'm not sure something different (or a drop) would really benefit the track, as it might defeat the purpose of the mellow tone. I'm not a musician or a composer though, so I really don't know.
Other than that though, this is a great piece! I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future. Thank you for this song.
Thank you…I’m sorry I haven’t been able to deliver to your expectations… I’m Not the best. I just want to make stuff to help my depression.
I'd rather not dive into the ethics of AI in music creation, so I'll mostly talk about the song. Honestly, the vocals sound fine. They sound a bit generic in places, but other than that, they would pass as a real voice if you had not said that it was AI. It sounds great. Everything else sounds great too, and I would love to hear an instrumental version of this.
One last thing, just remember, it's not a one way trip. I don't know why you would think that.
Thank you!, I'm not good at doing either lyrics or vocal lines, I'm strictly an instrumental artist!.
Having AI vocals changes the world for me, I've worked with many, many vocalists but always on songs that are someone else's or collaborations, I like being mostly independent when it comes to making music for myself so having an easy way to just go *plop* and put vocals into a song I've made is super freeing!, I know it's not a one way trip, but it does feel just *amazing* to have vocals haha.
About the ethics of AI in music creation well, I don't think of it as a voice, nothing ever will replace the human voice, but it is a tool, another instrument, just like some people use guitars VSTs because they can't play (or afford) guitar and all it's equipment, there's no replacing the real thing!.
Thank you for your comment!, the song is very, very not done and still an extreme WIP, I didn't compose it with the idea of it having vocals and this is just like, an hour of messing with the program and writing the cheesy lyrics, but I wanted to share my findings with the world!
"You lied to me..."
>:D
Amazing. How do you make such good music? What I love about this track is that it not only sounds incredible, but it has some actual variety to it. That bass is peak too.
Well done.
Also, how was this not frontpaged?
Thanks so much! I am literally not sure how I pulled off this track - I had the right combination of tools and mindset that is a bit hard for me to replicate. But just this past week I made a new chiptune plugin that makes it MUCH easier to make the same types of sounds I created for this track, so perhaps there'll be more to come :)
I don't think any of my older music got front paged, haha. But hey if this is good enough, maybe it could be nominated for one of the yearly Treasure Hunts :D
Simple and a little too uniform throughout, but I suspect that was the entire point. The distortion at the end feels unnecessary, but still sounds okay.
Overall, it's a good ambient track. I could easily see this in the next big indie horror game.
thank you, the whole ep that this track is in is basically a goof around of tracks that are indeed very unifrom. my music in an indie game though, that'd be fucking nuts!! :D
This song gets pretty intense, but I love the soft sections too.
thank you! <3
Glitchy and intense, I love it!
