I love the emotion behind this.
I love the emotion behind this.
thank you!<3
Love all the little details on the shelf. These characters are begging to be animated, they feel so alive already.
Wow! Thank you so much. Its great to hear that my illustration skills are improving.
I don't think basic photoshopping of other people's work (including AI generations) is allowed on Newgrounds anyway. It has to mostly be your work. I agree that there can still be the same issues with copywright, but not necesarilly. Unlike photos, which can be licenced under creative commons or any other licence, nearly every AI model has been trained without the consent or permission from the original artists and photographers. If you generate something first, and then photoshop it, then you're just being uncreative twice. Using AI is also terrible for the environment, using up both energy and water as slop is generated on massive server farms. There really is no positive aspects of generative AI (except maybe with reasearchers). TLDR: Photoshopping other people's work is uncreative, photoshopping AI generations is even worse, and AI is just all-around bad.
this was not a pro-AI comic, it's more of a pro-conversation comic.. so while i appreciate hearing your side of the story for a second time (you already commented under part 1), i do hope you didn't at least miss the point
also, i hope you watched the video i sent you by Draw With Jazza (i think he has a very nuanced view on this topic)
They are both beautiful. I love the attention to detail.
Thank you!!
I like the chaotic sketchy vibes this has. It feels like it would be messy and ill-defined, but it works really well to give things texture and personality.
Thank you, I've working on this sketchy style for a while while now, so I'm glad that it's paying off
Really pretty gradients.
Thanks!
David. Without a doubt.
You do realize that AI is different from copyrighted materials right? It goes deeper than that. AI was trained (illegally) on the backs of artists, musicians, and storytellers. It isn't magic. How would you feel if I downloaded all of your art and used it to train a stable diffusion lora model to spit out art that is styled exactly like yours (and then "photoshop it")? I'm not going to do that because I am a sane and rational individual, but do you see why people are uncomfortable with this, even if it's photoshopped afterwards? Please think about this.
hi, i recommend this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DK4HLexK8Y
the purpose of my comic was to start conversation, but i think this video did a better job at that, and i think both sides of the debate can learn from it
I really like the detail on the sketches. I actually prefer them over the colored piece at the beginning; they're all so cool.
Thank you:)
Love the eyes! Perfect colors too.
Thank you I love warm colors :3
Oooh, I really like the character design.
(This is my 1000th review.)
thank you <3 I'll be making character sheets of some of my characters soon if you are interested in what the rest of them look like
