Sir, I'm sorry to contact you at this hour, but it's urgent. There's been an incident at the lab. The experiment escaped. I know what you're gonna say, that it's done this before, and you'd be right in saying that, but this time it's different, I swear. We don't really know what's happening, but we think it's... evolving. It's evading capture and demonstrating levels of cognition like we've never seen before. I just wanted to inform you that everything's mostly under control at the moment, and as of-

What the hell was that? I'm sorry, I'm going to have to call you back, but I'll see you in the morning. Probably. Take care.

All jokes aside, this song rocks! The ambience behind the quieter industrial-ish beaks is incredible. Every second of the song is interesting and layered beautifully. I look forward to hearing more of your music!

That's some pretty good song lore! Seems like it would fit perfectly. Thank you for the appreciation, I'm hoping to update it with an Argent Compressor and some more industrial drums, to make the mix as epic as possible. Stay tuned!

That piano came out of nowhere. I think it fits nicely.

Dark, creepy, and cold. Perfect for a Halloween game with a winter setting.

I agree, this is a major step forward. Honestly, there isn't much to complain about here. The song remains varied enough to be interesting, and generally keeps it's main theme throughout. At 0:26, the song looses the retro vibe, and switches to full dubstep. I initially wasn't a fan of this part, but I now realize that it's necessary, giving meaning and complementing the 8-bit parts. On a completely different note, I especially like 1:19 onwards, however, that's just a matter of personal preference; the whole song is great.

Overall, this is just a really well composed track, and the best one yet by far.

I'm so glad you enjoyed as much as you did!

Creepy. It has the perfect amount of edginess and mystery.
I love it.

Yes, they do remain.
They are watching.

Life goes on.

Can confirm, this is definitely what rain sounds like on a windowpane.

Short and sweet.

In 2687, on an ice moon with no name, the last human colony in existence struggles onward, surviving to their best of their ability. The colonists live in the constant shadow of the gas giant they orbit, forever dark, and forever cold. A lone child wanders out onto the wasteland, past the bounds of the settlement, and gazes at the stars, wishing to be one with the others. The child lays down, and stares at the universe through eyes occluded with tears.

JoeyFreezeMusic responds:

…yeah, probably.
